Tom Hardy Reveals First Poster For Sony’s ‘Venom’ Movie; Trailer Dropping Tomorrow

It hasn’t been two weeks since Tom Hardy announced that he had wrapped filming on Sony Pictures ‘Venom’ movie, and to the surprise of many it was announced via TrailerTrack that a teaser was classified and on the way. Now thanks to Star Tom Hardy we get a peek at a teaser poster.

Hardy took to his personal Twitter page to reveal the poster, with a caption that reads “Tomorrow,” teasing the debut of the film’s highly-anticipated trailer, which was rated last week. The poster itself is rather simple, featuring the titular character’s iconic eyes and the film’s official logo.

Plot details on Venom are currently under wraps, though Fleischer has previously mentioned that the film will be based on the Lethal Protector and Planet of the Symbiotes comic book runs. Whether or not Spider-Man who played a significant role in both stories will make an appearance remains unclear.

Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Scott Haze, Jenny Slate, Riz Ahmed, Reid Scott and Woody Harrelson.

Venom is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on October 5, 2018.
