SyFy Drops The First Official Trailer For The Superman Prequel Series ‘Krypton‘

While the man of steel waits in a sort of limbo when it comes to the feature films, following his appearance in Justice League, his ancestors are ready to take the spotlight in the SyFy series ‘Krypton’. The network, at last, launched the first full official trailer for the series which shows off the danger that will befall Kal-El’s grandfather Seg-El as Shaun Sipos’s version of Adam Strange comes from the future to warn them of impending danger.

Originally sold as a prequel that would focus on Superman’s family in the decades prior to Krypton’s destruction, the series evolved and it was revealed that Adam Strange, Hawkwoman and other heroes would be coming back from the present day to stop some villains including Brainiac from wiping out Superman’s family and legacy.

How big of a part the future heroes will play on the series, whether it’s for the pilot and the warning and they go home afterward or stay longer, is unknown.

Krypton stars Cameron Cuffe, Elliot Cowan, Georgina Campbell, Ann Ogbomo, Wallis Day, Ramus Hardiker, Aaron Pierre and Ian McElhinney.

Krypton premieres on March 21, 2018.
