Reshoots are currently underway for the next DCEU film and they are being helmed by Joss Whedon. Now it’s been assumed that the additional photography wasn’t too extensive, but it seems like that may very well be the case.
The Hollywood Reporter released their article on the future of Ben Aflleck’s Batman in the DCEU, it also included a small bit of possible info about the reshoots going on with ‘Justice League’. While talking about possibilities of Batman’s role in the film universe, they mentioned how Whedon is currently working on ‘Justice Leaugue’ after Zack Snyder had to step away.
Director Zack Snyder has stepped away in mid-production and his successor, Joss Whedon, is said to be doing extensive reshoots.
This isn’t at all confirmed, and there has been evidence before on how some of it’s stars finished pretty early. Extensive or not, this definitely doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing. ‘Rogue One’ infamously had it’s third act completely re-shot, yet it still got the job done very well. DCEU fans shouldn’t jump the gun on this one, and be patient until November when the film hits theaters.
Justice League fights its way into theaters on November 17, 2017.
