Deadpool 2 is set to start production soon but it seems like they are getting a head start. A report is claiming that the film is currently shooting Hatley Castle in Vancouver, known for being the X Mansion in the X-Men movies.
Thanks to OmegaUnderground for spotting this, the info was revealed by a local source CTV News in Vancouver. It seems like production has returned to Hatley Castle, under the working title “Love Machine”.
- The film’s publicist told CTV News crews were shooting a movie called “Love Machine,” but an online search shows that’s the working title for Deadpool 2, starring Vancouver-born actor Ryan Reynolds.
- Friday was the only day of filming scheduled for Hatley Castle.
- The rest of the Deadpool sequel is being shot in Vancouver.(CTV Vancouver Island)
The movie heading back to the mansion may mean more cameos from X-Men characters. It seems like they will be filming there for a couple of days so it is definitely a possibility.
Deadpool 2 will be directed by David Leitch(Atomic Blonde) and star Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Josh Brolin(Cable), Zazie Beetz(Domino) and Morena Baccarin(Vanessa).
